Google Video, FireFox Synchronization & toolbar:  Ready for online Payment transactions.

Section:

Business

Summary:

Web apps without documentation and support is an invitation to sail an uncharted sea;
Web sites without content is not to go to sea at all.

Google is on a user friendly features and content roll.  Google stock is one of the darlings of Wall Street for a reason!  People like Google stuff, Google sytle and Google"s fast track plan to become much bigger and better.

What is clear is that Google is on a quest to search out and hire the best talent on the planet, Meanwhile, the micobrand entrepreurs will have to very niche oriented, very quick and very smart ,or they will be steamrolled.

Main:

For example, today we did the following with the help of Google:

* Added the FireFox browser synchronization extension to ver 1.5.0.4. In addition, the google browser toolbar extension was added.  The cool toolbar has Google Search, GMail checking, spell checking and AutoFill of forms , page searching with highlighting, and English to Spanish word translation.  The AJAX stuff is really cool.  RSS subscribing and PageRanking are also part of the package.

* Uploaded, annotated and registered for verification, several movie clips to Google Video using the Mac OSX version of GoogleVideoUploader.

We are now in the movie video production, distribution and sales business.  By the end of June, Google is expected to announce and start on online payment system that will work much like PayPal from eBay. The very good news is that my browser and its database of my personal bookmarks, logins, and passwords is safe , secure and postable.  All of my stuff is on my Flashdrive {ref_1}attached to the my lanyard neckstrap.  So, with latte in hand, backpack in tow, my mobile IT system and I are both out the door and on our way to take on the day.

Thus, SSL and other security and user reassuring features, are turning Firefox into the current Google browser of choice.  Now, the foundation is for a truly ANY__ online environment. The Google scenario is Any_body, Any_where, Any_time, Any_machine, Any_platform for purchase, payment and distribution of content.

Meanwhile, in the Heartland people are out and about. My Customized Google Dashboard has the temperature at 68° , 10° cooler than the water in the outdoor Hickey pool where a BlueDevis alumnus and Aggie Women’s Water Polo Team aspirant was doing a shoulder surgery rehab workout.  Other students are taking final exams.  Senior citizens are meeting, greeting and preparing for family, fun and educational travel and activities.

BTW:  Nationally, one third of people over the age of 65 use the Internet.  Tonight, the DSC Internet Club meets and will use a public WiFi network to present and demonstrate some online digital photographic and video applications.
