The Oregon Ducks won the Pac-10 Tournament by dousing USC at the Staples complex before a crowd of 18,000. It was over early and was 78- 39 at 6:51 went Ernie Kent pulled the starters including the elegant explosive 6’ 5” Jr., Bryan Taylor of nearby Encino and Harvard Westwood. Taylor was also the perfect tournament, MVP.

How do you define perfection? Let us count the ways:

* 32 points. 11/11 from the field, 7/7 from 3 point range, 3/3 from the freethrow line.

* Hold the leading USC scorer, Nick Young, to 10 points without one PF.

The NCAA seeding official must have been impressed. Today, Oregon was seeded #3 in the Mid-West. They will be mixing it up at the Mid West Regionals in St. Louis after taking on # 14, Miami of Ohio and # 6 Notre Dame in Spokane.
