University Scientific Research: Fraud and Misconduct.

Summary:

Yesterday, CK Gunsalus an attorney specializing in Scientific Research Misconduct, was the keynote speaker at a certification awards event hosted by the UCDavis Office of Research.  Certificates in ethics and strandard oriented program appeared to awarded primarily to foreign and domestic students with federal training and research grants in the sciences.

The presentation was a broad brush analyisis of the problem, its root causes, and variety of possible solutions.
